EAST LANSING – Marilyn H. Cochran, 87, loving wife of Bill Cochran, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at her home.
Marilyn was born on July 9, 1927, in Saginaw, Mich., to John W. and Emma (Fischer) Holmquist.
On Sept. 15, 1951, she married William John Cochran who survives her. They were married nearly 63 years.
Marilyn taught in the Okemos Public Schools as a reading specialist for many years.
She was also a very active volunteer for many worthy organizations.
Marilyn will always be remembered as a very loving and generous friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, June Holmquist St. John.
Services will be held at a later date.
