Talk on improving bird habitats planned on Sept. 9
IRON MOUNTAIN – The Audubon Society and the Dickinson Conservation District will be presenting strategies for improving game and song bird habitat on private lands.
The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Dickinson County Library, 401 Iron Mountain St. in Iron Mountain.
Attendees will learn what plants and features will attract grouse, woodcock, and the golden winged warbler, which is a species of special concern in the U.P.
The event is free and open to the public.
