Registration taken for Beth Moore live simulcast
IRON MOUNTAIN – LifeWay Christian Resources is slated to simulcast Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore of Fort Wayne, Ind. on Sept. 13. Host for the local area will be Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.
The simulcast will begins promptly at 9 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Living Proof Live, sponsored by Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, will feature Moore’s dynamic storytelling and passionate Bible teaching.
“Beth’s teaching is some of the most profound I’ve ever heard,” Kim Trobee, associate pastor to women at New Life Church in Colorado, said. “Her knowledge of the Word and her passionate delivery never fail to get right to the heart of the matter.”
The event both challenges and encourages women to grow deeply in their faith. The live internet stream program joins 250,000 women from around the world. The simulcast gives each church a front-row seat to one-of-a-kind Bible teaching and life-changing worship.
“I have served in women’s ministry for more than 20 years now, and there is just no other event like Living Proof Life,” women’s ministry leader Missy Kintzel said. “It is one event our women do not want to miss.”
Moore has authored dozens of published Bible studies, books, and devotionals specifically for women for nearly two decades. Her newest LifeWay-published study, “Children of the Day: 1 and 2 Thessalonians” released May 1, is a Bible study that equips women to let the light of Christ shine brightly. Moore’s organization, Living Proof Ministries, is based out of Houston.
Dove award-winning musical artist Travis Cottrell, who also serves as worship pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tenn., is slated to lead worship for the event.
Tickets are $20 covering one full day of music and worship; sessions led by Beth Moore; and opportunities for fellowship with other women from the local area. Women can purchase tickets by contacting Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church at 774-2733.
The church is located on the corners of Kimberly Avenue and H Street.
