Special service on Sunday

FLORENCE, Wis. – The Florence Parish, which is a partnership in Christian Ministry between the First Presbyterian and Bethlehem Lutheran Churches, invites members, friends, and visitors to the area to join their special worship events they have planned.

Pat Bonales will lead worship at both churches on Sunday at the usual 8 a.m. time at First Presbyterian and 9:15 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran. “Bonales always has an uplifting message to share,” said a spokesperson.

On Sunday, Aug. 24, they will hold “Worship at the Fair” at 9:30 a.m. Retired Pastor Larry Warren will lead this service with the assistance of members of First Presbyterian and Bethlehem Lutheran.

They will also sing to the violin being played by Chris Warren on Aug. 24. There will be no worship service at First Presbyterian or Bethlehem Lutheran.

Mary Van Haute will be the worship leader and speaker for the Sunday worship services on Aug. 31. Meet at First Presbyterian at the usual 8 a.m. time and 9:15 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran to hear her message.

Everyone is also welcome to “Come to Supper” on the fourth Monday of the month from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. In August this free delicious meal with dessert and beverages will be held on Aug. 25 in the fellowship hall at First Presbyterian.
