Vacation Bible School in Norway features ‘The Incredible Race’

NORWAY – Checkered flags will be flying and prekindergarten through sixth grade kids will be off and running for the Second Lap of the “The Incredible Race,” a Vacation Bible School opportunity planned for Monday, Aug. 18 through Friday, Aug. 22, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Norway.

The program will run daily from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Co-sponsored by the Evangelical Covenant, Bethany Lutheran, and Grace United Methodist churches, the racetrack will be packed full of fun, excitement, great games, creative crafts, and yummy treats.

All young “racers” are welcome and can register by calling Grace UMC at 563-8917, Bethany Lutheran at 563-8472, or Evangelical Covenant at 563-9480, or at the door.

It’s a race designed to help prepare kids for the race of life that lies ahead. They’ll enjoy hands-on involvement as they learn turbo-charged lessons from biblical pacesetters such as Jesus, Moses, David, Jonah, Paul and Daniel who turned in championship performances.

They will also learn some vital trackside tips – truths about Jesus they can hold on tight to as they run their race.

“So put the pedal to the metal and sign your kids up now for a Biblical adventure to remember and some summer fun,” said a spokesperson.

The church is located at 120 O’Dill Drive.
