Palestinian terrorists get rich
There have now been three wars between Gaza and Israel in the past 6 years. If nothing is done to stop the protagonist – the Islamic resistance army more commonly known as Hamas – then the only certain future for the area is that there will be another war in the not too distant future.
While many world leaders recognize the necessity of eliminating Hamas – both for the benefit of Israel and for the Palestinian civilians who suffer negatively both directly and indirectly from the decisions made by Hamas – few have the foresight or vision as to how to accomplish this task.
The Palestinian authority does not have the will or the capability to eradicate Hamas. The Arabs cannot be trusted to do it – with the possible exception of Egypt, which has been destroying terror tunnels in Gaza, enforcing the necessary blockade to stop terror supplies reaching Hamas, and has thwarted an Islamic suicide bomber terror attack and rocket attacks aimed at Israeli civilians in the past month.
Israel has the capability to get rid of Hamas, but the world accuses Israel of being too brutal in doing it.
The western countries that could do it know full well that if they were to do it, that they would behave as ‘brutally’ as they accuse Israel. Western countries also have no appetite to fight any Islamic terrorist group – especially one playing hostage to a civilian population.
While it is, sadly, abundantly clear that the world is not actually prepared to do what is needed to stop the conflict reoccurring, the western world does have some control.
Funds given to the Palestinians should be strictly controlled – it is irresponsible (if not downright murderous) to continue to look the other way while the Palestinian terrorists get rich, spare no expense on buying rockets and invest millions in terror tunnels.
Without funds the terror trade of Hamas will die, even though the ideology of course will not. Perhaps this is the best solution that the western world is prepared to fathom for now.
I’m actually glad the CIA spied on the Senate staffers tasked with investigating the CIA.
Here in real America the government is spying of us citizens all the time.
We know that thanks to our hero Edward Snowden.
So now the Senate knows what it’s like to be spied on like real Americans.
Major General Harold Greene is one of the latest proud and courageous Americans to prove that no greater love hath any man (or woman) that to give up his life for his nation.
Of course, the almighty does not recognize rank in my opinion, as every soul is just as precious to him – be they mighty or small. But as the poet John Donne once wrote: “No Man Is An Island.”
With the general’s recent death in Afghanistan, we have lost yet another of our nation’s finest, proving once again that freedom, anyplace upon this Earth, is never free.
Recently, I went to purchase a wrench socket. The clerk went to the shelf and came back with nothing.
He then told me, “You are not allowed in our store, and I must ask you to leave.”
Since when is that the way to treat a loyal customer, who had merely inquired about a May to August delay to get a 10mm socket?
It must be nice to have too much business and to deny the customer the right to ask questions. Fortunately, those identical wrenches are now available at other local retail outlets.
Has the majority faction in Congress taken leave of their senses? Apparently so. It is almost impossible to have any pride in our country these days.
First, the immigration travesty. Unless born on an Indian reservation, each of them is a child of immigrants. Maybe we should go back a generation or two to determine who should be deported.
And now Congress has sent more money to Israel, so they can continue their killing spree, with no regard for civilians and children. Hamas probably would not have risen to power if the U.S. had not sided against the Palestinians, including the Palestinian Christians.
Israel has been grabbing land since 1967, mostly with U.S. financing. There will never be peace unless Israel agrees to land negotiation, which they refuse to discuss.
Can’t Congress see that by fanning the hatred they are making our country more vulnerable than ever to hatred from all the middle east countries for generations to come?
To the Christian community here at home, I would point out that we are likely working against God, rather than for God. Israel expects us to finance their many wars, and we are stupid enough to do it.
Israel claims the whole land because of an Old Testament promise. By that logic, aren’t we in the U.S. obligated to give our land back to the Native Americans?
Being privileged to receive a survey packet in the mail on June 17 concerning consolidation of the Dickinson County schools, promptly it was filled out and mailed back a few days later. Consolidating school districts is the smartest and most positive thing you can do to save the taxpayers’ dollars.
Wherever this has been done, the children involved with this move love it. And if we do it with this in mind, it will work out positively for all concerned.
Of course, the ones that don’t want it to happen are the teachers’ union and school teachers themselves-especially the superintendents and principals that are now operating within the school districts.
We could eliminate these positions because all we would need is one good one. This would save a whole lot of taxpayers’ dollars. Unions are not needed and out-dated.
What’s needed are responsible citizens to sit on the school boards with proper and reasonable teacher contracts. If we are smart, we’ll consolidate.
If we don’t, eventually all districts are bound to go broke. We cannot afford public schooling the way it is setting itself up. Keep in mind, all people hired in a school district work for us, us being the citizens that pay for everything with taxes.
Am I going crazy, or what?
Oh by the way, how’s that Obama thing working out for “ya” so far?
