ELCA Lutheran Parish to install Linda Forray, LLM

NORWAY – Bethany Lutheran Church of Norway and Calvary Lutheran Church of Quinnesec in affiliation with the Northern Great Lakes Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, will celebrate and install Linda L. Forray, as their licensed lay minister on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Rev. Katherine Finegan, assistant to the Bishop of the NGLS, will officiate the Rite of licensing and installation. The installation will take place at Bethany Lutheran Church, located on 130 O’Dill Drive, west of the Jake Meneghini Museum, in Norway.

Linda Forray LLM, from Wallace, will be completing her theological studies in the fall of 2015 from Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa. She is married to Andrew, a dairy farmer, has three adult children, and 12 grandchildren.

Linda Forray, LLM is serving both congregations of Bethany and Calvary Lutheran known as the ELCA Lutheran Parish of Dickinson County. Bethany of Norway and Calvary of Quinnesec are the only two ELCA Churches in Dickinson County.

The parish invites the community to attend the installation service and join in the reception following. Ordained ministers, associates in ministry and licensed lay ministers are invited to process and are welcome to vest. The color of the day is red.
