Keyes Peak Summerfest on Saturday
FLORENCE, Wis.-The 26th annual Keyes Peak Summerfest and Pig Roast is rapidly approaching.
The festivities will occur this Saturday from noon until 11 p.m. at Keyes Lake Park, located three miles south of Florence on Highway 101.
Admission is $7 for adults, and for seniors aged 62 and over, a discounted fee of $5 will be offered. Children, 12 years and younger, receive free admission to the festivities.
Parking for the event is free.
Keyes Peak Summerfest offers a wide variety of summertime activities for the entire family.
Kid’s games, swimming, and miniature golf are offered at the Keyes Lake Campground from noon until 4 p.m. In addition to the pig roast, a variety of food and refreshments, such as porketta, sauerkraut, and hamburgers will be available.
Summerfest does not only offer fun activities and delicious food. A line-up of talented live musicians will be performing throughout the day.
Starting off the festivities are The Steenos, who will be performing at the Pavilion from noon to 3 p.m. This husband and wife duet play both original and cover songs ranging from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Dylan.
Next in the line-up is Glass Joe Band, a local variety-rock band from Iron Mountain, performing on the Main Stage from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Wrapping up the evening will be Oz, a five-piece classic rock band from the central U.P., performing from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. on the Main Stage.
