Daily News, Econo Foods shopping spree give-away set

IRON MOUNTAIN – The Daily News and Tadych’s Econo Foods have once again partnered together to give one lucky winner the chance to fill this empty cart in a 99-Second Shopping Spree (up to $1,000).

The second place winner will receive a $100 Tadych’s Econo Foods grocery gift card. And the third place winner will receive a $50 Tadych’s Econo Foods grocery gift card.

“That’s three opportunities to win in this very popular giveaway,” said Jennifer Flynn, Circulation Manager at The Daily News.

Stephen Roe of Iron Mountain was the winner of a 99-second shopping spree offered by The Daily News and Tadych’s Econo Foods in 2012.

It’s easy to enter and fun to win.

To enter, simply clip the “99-Second Shopping Spree Giveaway” entry form found in editions of The Daily News.

Entry forms can be dropped off or mailed to Tadych’s Econo Foods at 1600 S. Stephenson Ave. Iron Mountain, or The Daily News, 215 E. Ludington St., Post Office Box 460, Iron Mountain MI 49801.

Bonus entry forms are available by renewing or starting a subscription to The Daily News between Aug. 1 and Oct. 29.

There is no purchase necessary to enter. You can also enter at The Daily News office or Tadych’s Econo Foods.

There is a limit of one bonus entry form per person per day. Every week, 10 semi-finalists will be randomly chosen and listed in the Saturday editions of The Daily News.

On Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 3 pm., three of the semi-finalists will be selected at random to win the three top prizes.

A final drawing to determine first, second, and third places will take place immediately before the 99 Second Shopping Spree on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 8 am., at Tadych’s Econo Foods.

The finalists must be present to win.

The starting point for the 99 Second Shopping Spree is at the customer service desk and will go through the produce area to reach the rest of the store.

The Shopping Spree winner may take no more than two of like-kind items.

If more than two like-kind items are taken, those extra items will be excluded from the total prize.

The 99 Second Shopping Spree excludes non-food items, alcohol, and meat family packs.

Employees of The Daily News, Powers Printing, and Tadych’s Econo Foods and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. Complete contest rules are available at The Daily News office or at www.ironmountaindailynews.com.
