Old Victoria accepting vendors, artists for annual Craft Fair
ROCKLAND – The Old Victoria Historical Site will be holding its 32nd annual Craft Fair on Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This unique event is held on the grounds of a restored mining village, just outside Rockland.
In addition to a spectacular venue for local artisans to display and sell their homemade arts and crafts, the day includes food and refreshments including the delicious cinnamon rolls baked in the woodstove, old-fashioned kids games, live entertainment, and more.
The Old Victoria Craft Fair is a fundraising event to support this non-profit organization, and keep this piece of copper mining history open to visitors.
Old Victoria is currently accepting crafter and artisan registrations for this special event. Booths are only $35, and include two cinnamon rolls and coffee.
Only original, handmade items are accepted. Exhibitors are encouraged to demonstrate their craft throughout the day, as visitors enjoy working displays.
This event draws visitors from around the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin.
“Exhibitors enjoy the peaceful Northwoods setting and the many offerings of the day,” said a spokesperson.
