BEECHER, Wis. – Ruth A. McIntosh, 84, of Beecher, Wis., passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at her home.
She was born March 7, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wis., daughter of the late Robert and Virginia (Hepp) McKay.
Ruth grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from West Division High School, Milwaukee. She married Arthur McIntosh on Oct. 25, 1952, in Milwaukee. Ruth worked for the Milwaukee Insurance Company and retired from there. After retirement she and her husband relocated to Beecher.
She loved working logic puzzles, playing cards and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Arthur; three daughters, Virginia “Ginger” Helgeson (Phil Haney) , Kenosha, Wis., Cheryl Dalin, Kenosha and Lynn McIntosh (Bob Rhynas), Howards Grove, Wis.; two brothers, Marlin McKay, Ore. and Robert (Carol) McKay, Wis.; five grandchildren, Tory, Annie (Curt), Shaun, Chris, Meghan and Keegan; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Peierl and Dorothy Maxey.
In accordance with Ruth’s wishes, private visitation and services were held.
