Douglas Ray Moore
VULCAN – Family and friends are invited to an anniversary memorial, celebrating the life of Douglas Ray Moore, 82, of Waucedah Township, who passed away July 16, 2012, at his home, on Wednesday, July 16 hosted by his daughter, Marty Moore.
The potluck celebration will be held at his camp located at N1972 N. Bergen Road in Vulcan starting at 5 p.m.
Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass, along with their own beverage. They also ask that those attending bring a chair or blanket for seating.
Persons are welcome to tell stories about his life and musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments for a jam around the campfire.
Family has planned a special service including a military salute and the spreading of his ashes.
Ray enjoyed deer hunting at the Waucedah Township camp for 67 years with his friends, the Christensens; loving it so much that he and Berneice made Waucedah Township their home in 2002.
