A matter of common sense

Concerning Kathy Kohn’s rebuttal of my letter “Too much diversity,” I must thank her for unknowingly giving validation to the point I was making, from the book “The Words We Live By.”

With our country now being approximately 90 times the size it was when the Constitution was written, it is not logical that the unity that the country experienced at the time of its origin can be applicable to a nation that now has a completely differentiated set of people compared to what it once had. To be forthright, it is a matter of common sense.

And since Kathy is a Christian, I hope she remembers the scripture 1 Timothy 2:12: “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must remain silent.” (Ladies, don’t shoot the messenger.)
