QUINNESEC – Lorraine C. “Sis” Beauchamp, 87, of Quinnesec died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1926, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ann (Kreitzer) St. Louis. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School.
She married Donald (Pook) Beauchamp on Nov. 8, 1947, at St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1991.
Sis enjoyed crocheting and reading, especially murder mysteries. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is survived by five children Mike (Susan) Beauchamp of Sugarland, Texas, Pat Beauchamp of Quinnesec, Paul Beauchamp of Quinnesec, Anne Brunner (Ray Watts) of Quinnesec, and Mary Dolson (Danny Harvell) of Rockmart, Ga., 11 grandchildren Jenny (Mike) Lusk, JonPaul (Whitney) Beauchamp, Clay Beauchamp, Rebecca Zoch, Amanda Dolson, Ryan Dolson, Lisa Dolson, Patrick Green, Stephen Green, Lynden (Manor Alex Pelbath USAF) and Kelsey (Anthony Dues); and 12 great-grandchildren, Logan and David Lusk, Myla and Walter Beauchamp, McKayla and Landon Zoch, Karl Hodges, Amanda and Emily Blazer, Jake and Izzy Pelbath, and Wyatt Dues. She also survived by two sisters, Rita Rubbo of Centennial, Colo. and Peg (Jerry) Badini of Pace, Fla., one sister-in-law, Peg St. Louis of Kingsford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob St. Louis; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Beauchamp; and her brother-in-law, Bob Rubbo.
Private family services will be held. Father Joseph Gouin will officiate.
Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
