City councils, Florence Board planning meetings this week

The Iron Mountain City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council room of the city hall building, 501 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.
The agenda includes a request from Harry Rahoi to purchase city-owned land, health insurance premiums with a 80/20 city-employee funding ratio, contribution request for milfoil treatment at Lake Antoine, 2014-15 fee schedule, MDOT contract for the Small Urban program on Park Avenue and Margaret Street and solicit bids for a 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit.
The Kingsford City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council room, located upstairs of the city hall building, 405 S. Carpenter Ave. in Kingsford.
Old business includes a presentation of the Kingsford Heights sewer separation study. Under new business, the council will discuss an interpretation of “floor area, usable” definition for computing parking in Code 44 and a resolution certifying compliance with Pubic Act 152 of 2011.
A hearing is also scheduled at 6:45 p.m. on the USDA grant for patrol vehicle. A brief executive session is also planned to discuss negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.
The Norway City Council will meet today at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of the city hall building, 915 Main St. in Norway.
Agenda items include a resolution for rates for non-union employees, General Appropriations Act, operating and capital improvements budget, HVAC upgrade project at city hall, GIS contour mapping, purchase of a bucket truck for the electric department, major street maintenance on Section Street and Kimberly Road, amending the Norway Noise Ordinance, resolution for approval for wastewater sludge disposal and a special event application for Corpus Christi Procession.
The Florence County Board will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the commissioner’s room of the Florence County Courthouse in Florence, Wis.
