Oconto Falls meth arrests
MADISON, Wis. – Special agents with the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation, with assistance from several local law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, uncovered a methamphetamine production laboratory Wednesday at a residence in Oconto Falls, Wis.
As the result of an ongoing investigation into the manufacture and distribution of meth, a search warrant was executed at 249 Birch Avenue, Lot 15.
Investigators discovered and seized processed meth and drug paraphernalia, as well as chemicals and other items necessary for the production of meth.
Four suspects who were present during the execution of the search warrant were arrested on various charges related to the manufacture and possession with intent to deliver of methamphetamine, and child endangerment.
Arrested were Ashley L. Van Norman, 22; Nicholas R. Block, 28; Joseph P. Anderson, 24; and Wendy S. Pogrant, 51. All four suspects are Oconto Falls residents.
Charges are pending through the Oconto County District Attorney’s Office.
The Brown County Drug Task Force, Oconto Falls Police Department, Oconto County Sheriff’s Department, Oconto Falls Fire Department, and Oconto Falls EMS assisted at the scene.
