Entries sought for Waterfront Art Festival

ESCANABA – The William Bonifas Fine Arts Center invites artists of all mediums to submit their work for entry into this year’s Waterfront Art Festival, being held on Aug. 2 at the Karas Band Shell area of Ludington Park in Escanaba.

The festival is a juried show and requires artists to submit either their actual work or digital image files for the selection process.

Acceptance is based on originality, technique, and design, and artists selected for the festival will be provided a pre-assigned 15 by 15 foot booth to display and sell their work.

Eligibility requires that all work is to be of the artist’s own design and original in its concept and execution, with no more than half of the displayed work being reproductions of original works (lithographs, etc.). Deadline for application is June 14.

For more information, contact the Bonifas Arts Center at (906) 786-3833.
