Fishing boat stolen, recovered

NORWAY – Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officers are seeking information regarding a stolen fishing boat recovered today in Dickinson County.

A Mercury 115 HP outboard motor was missing from the blue and gray Lund 1775 Impact when the boat was discovered in the Groveland Mine area Thursday, said Debbie Munson Badini, Deputy Public Information Officer.

Anyone with information about this boat, motor, or any vehicles associated with the boat, is asked to contact the DNR’s Norway Field Office at 563-9247, the Marquette Operations Service Center at 906-228-6561, or the Report All Poaching hotline, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 1-800-292-7800. Information may be left anonymously.
