Marilyn “Bubbles” Rosendahl

KINGSFORD – Marilyn “Bubbles” Rosendahl, 86, of Kingsford, died Friday, April 29, 2014, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sept. 8, 1927, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Jack and Mary (Burcar) Rahoi.

Marilyn was a resident of the area for most of her life and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1945. She married George Rosendahl on Dec.13, 1947. George preceded her in death on June 22, 1988.

Marilyn was a former member of St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iron Mountain and a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace, Kingsford.

She is survived by her sister, Bonnie (Becky) Chiesa, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, George R. Rosendahl; her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Carol Rahoi; and her brother-in-law, Patrick “Chief” Chiesa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Peace Church. Father Michael Woempner will officiate.

Marilyn will be laid to rest at Iron Mountain Cemetery Park following the mass. Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
