Mildred G. McCraw
FLORENCE, Wis. – Mildred G. McCraw, 92, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Golden Living Center.
She was born June 27, 1921, in Florence, daughter of the late August and Anna (Bergland) Pultz. Mildred graduated from Florence High School in 1939 and was a lifelong resident of the area. She married Howard McCraw on June 1, 1946, in Florence and he preceded her in death in 1994. Mildred was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Florence. She enjoyed reading and singing. Mildred was a loving and giving mother and grandmother. Faith and family were the most important things in her life and brought her much joy.
Mildred is survived by two daughters, Germaine Edwards of Iron Mountain and Deborah McCraw of Roseville, Calif.; four grandchildren, Heather (Dan) Brown, Tanya Edwards (fianc, Ross Wiitanen), Wade (Kristin) Edwards and Melissa (Charles) Templeton; and four great-grandchildren, Brock Weaver, Connor and Macy Edwards and Garrett Brown.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Bernard Pultz; and a grandson, Nathan Soulier.
A visitation followed by a memorial mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Florence at a later date and will be announced at that time.
