Viola Mae Kososki

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Viola Mae Kososki passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, in Scottsdale. Viola was born in Iron Mountain on Sept. 9, 1927, the daughter of Matthew and Viola Louise Rounds. She graduated from Kingsford High School and attended college at the University Of Minnesota. She Married Harry Kososki in 1949. They lived in Niagara, Wis., where they made some of their closest friends and where they raised Harry’s three children, Robert Kososki (deceased), Darlene Fleck, and Jerry Kososki.

Viola was president of the Women’s Club in Niagara and was involved with the men’s and women’s bowling leagues. She was actively involved at the Maryhill Manor senior center and was an outstanding contributor to the community.

Viola was a vibrant woman, independent with a fun sense of humor, and a devoted Christian. Viola is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Harry; her daughter, Darlene Fleck; her son, Jerry Kososki; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
