Elizabeth M. Ayotte

KINGSFORD – Elizabeth M. “Betty” Ayotte, 89, of Kingsford, died Friday, April 4, 2014, in Panama City Beach, Fla. She was born on July 14, 1924, in Spalding, the daughter of the late Jule and Agnes (Mattord) Conard.

Betty married Warren Ayotte on Oct. 4, 1946. During their 63 years of marriage the couple enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending their winters in Panama City Beach.

Betty also enjoyed golfing, especially at Bomber’s Golf Course, and crocheting. She was a secretary for Dr. Hugh McEachran for many years. She was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Warren; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd, Irvin and Raymond Conard; and one sister, Bernice Samuels.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Kingsford Funeral Home.

The memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Father Joseph Gouin will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
