Hord’s sizzling start continues

FELCH – Hord Off-Road Racing has continued its red-hot start to the 2014 season.

Racing last weekend at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway’s dirt track, Chad Hord of Felch raced to a pair of seconds in the Pro-2WD Division.

“It was another great weekend for Team Hord,” said Hord, noting a 10-point lead over CJ Greaves in The Off-Road Racing Championship (TORC) Series season standings.

Hord Racing opened the season with a first and second at Primm, Nevada.

After four rounds of TORC racing:

– Hord has three of the four fastest laps in a race, missing the other by .01 of a second.

– In each practice, race or qualifying session, Hord has never been less than the second fastest time on the track.

– He was the lone Pro-2WD in Charlotte under the 43-second mark.

Up next on the schedule is Bark River, June 13-14.
