Boards meet this week

The Breitung Township Board will meet today at 7 p.m. in the board room of the township offices in Quinnesec.
Under old business, the board will consider a request to purchase Munetrix software. This item had been tabled from April 14.
New business on the agenda includes a request to purchase computer equipment/software. The board will also go into closed session to discuss litigation.
The Dickinson County Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 tonight in the circuit courtroom of the courthouse.
The agenda includes setting a surcharge rate on communication devices for 911 emergency dispatch services; two appointments to the Dickinson County Road Commission; and a request from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to obtain a long-term working agreement with the county for use of the Felch railroad grade as a snowmobile/ORV recreational trail.
The Iron Mountain School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the media center of the Iron Mountain High School.
The meeting will be to approve the next set of bond bids so that they can proceed with the next phase of projects.
The Iron Mountain City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. for a special meeting on the fiscal year 2014-15 budget workshop.
