Grace United Methodist Church in Norway will host a free community meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday.
The menu will be ham (possibly turkey), potatoes, vegetables, dessert and beverages.
There is no cost for the dinner, but a donation basket is available for those who want to make a contribution toward the meal program.
Meals will be delivered in the Norway-Vulcan area. Please call the church office at 563-8917 before 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, for take-out or deliveries. A message can be left on the answering machine, but messages left after the Thursday deadline may not be received.
Those who plan to come to the church and eat do not need to call ahead.
The meals program was started last year as a community outreach ministry. It is funded through donations and an Emerging Ministries Grant from the United Methodist Church.
“Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy some good food and fellowship with neighbors and friends,” said a spokesperson. “And, yes, it’s Easter, and some bunny loves you.”
Grace United Methodist church is located behind the Jake Menghini Museum and is known as Crossroads, a church facility shared with Bethany Lutheran church.
