KINGSFORD – Patricia “Pat” (Jandron) Corlett passed away at age 80 on Saturday, March 29, 2014, after a gallant fight with breast cancer.
Pat was born on Nov. 20, 1933, in Negaunee, to Alice Farley and Joe Jandron and was raised by loving grandparents Louis and Laura Farley.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Gerald “Jerry” Corlett, who she married on May 10, 1958, in Ishpeming; two devoted daughters, Claudia Corlett-Stahl (Matthew) of Monticello, Ill., and Heather Corlett-Harrell (Matthew) of Gainesville, Va.; and three grandchildren, Darbi Simmons (24), Maclaine Stahl (17), and Cameron Stahl (15).
Preceded in death by parents, Alice Chance and Joe Jandron; grandparents, Louis Farley and Laura Farley; sister-in-law, Jill Gagnon; and aunts, Lucille Garceau and Jean Kirkpatrick.
She is also survived by nieces, Julie (Gagnon) Johnson, Christine (Gagnon) Rantanen and Michelle Gagnon; close cousins, Alan and Patti Garceau (sons, Alan, Lance and Jeff), Dennis and Carla Garceau (children, Staci, Steve, Bridgette and Craig) and Scott and Georgeanna Garceau (daughters, Kelly and Danielle).
Pat was an incredibly strong, passionate, and caring woman who was dedicated to her work at Coleman Engineering Co., where she retired in 1995.
Saying “she will be missed” is the grandest of understatements. Her lessons, love and spirit will live on in all who knew, loved or were touched by her.
