GREEN BAY, Wis. – Paul McDermid, 63, of Green Bay, went to his heavenly home Thursday, March 20, 2014.
He was born March 3, 1951, in Oconto, Wis., to Francis and Doris (Exferd) McDermid. On Oct. 18, 1991, he married Shelley (Schuelke) Koch.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley McDermid of Green Bay; three children, Geoffrey McDermid and his wife, Melanie, of Noble, Okla., Bradley McDermid of Moore, Okla., and Lacey Koch and her fianc, Shawn Jorgensen of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; four grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian and Sally Schuelke, Scott and Vicky Schuelke, Lisa and Scott Edlund, Wendy Schuelke, Becky and Jerry Pugh, and Tammy Schuelke; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; his in-laws, Fred and Diane Schuelke; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Schuelke.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. in Green Bay. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside in Green Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating.
Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery.
