Patriots land three on NLC first team

WABENO, Wis. – Three players from league champion Goodman-Pembine and Florence’s Connor Beaster have been named to the all-Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball first-team.

Trent Heath (16. 5 points per game, 3.5 assists), Alex Whitt (10 rebounds, 4.6 assists) and Austin Glanzer (15.6 points) from the league champion Patriots landed first-team berths with the Bobcats’ 6-foot-8 Beaster (20 points, 15 rebounds).

League coaches tabbed Crandon’s Kory Kincaid as NLC Player of the Year. The six-player first team was completed by Jaeger Adams of Elcho.

Goodman-Pembine’s Paul Whitt received NLC Coach of the Year.

The second team consisted of Brett Novak, Crandon; Austin Andrews and Cooper Chrisman, Laona-Wabeno; Robert Rosner, Phelps, and Gavin Maney, Three Lakes.
