Accident in Norway

NORWAY – An enclosed utility trailer tipped over on U.S. 2 in Norway on Monday, blocking both eastbound lanes of traffic for about 20 minutes.

The accident occurred at about 11:50 a.m. near the Dairy Queen restaurant.

Norway Police Chief Jim Shafer said that the driver of a pickup truck with an attached trailer was leaving Dairy Queen when his trailer got caught on a snowbank and rolled over. No one was injured, Shafer added.

Police officers directed both westbound and eastbound traffic to use the two westbound lanes while the trailer was being removed.
