FP boys suffer loss

CARNEY – Keenan Lampinen scored with four seconds remaining and Carney-Nadeau rallied in the second half to nip Forest Park 53-51 in Skyline Conference boys basketball Saturday.

Lee Graff’s bucket with 16 seconds left knotted the game at 51-51. Lampinen followed with the game-winner.

“Lampinen made a beautiful move and I couldn’t ask for a better defense,” Forest Park Coach Chris Nocerini said. “Both defenses did a great job.”

The Trojans, down 17-9 after the first quarter,

came back to lead 30-25 at halftime. The Wolves outscored the Trojans 28-21 in the second half.

Austin Snell and Graff each scored 20 points for Forest Park (16-2, 11-2).
