Two hurt in Ishpeming crash

ISHPEMING – Two people were in serious condition at Marquette General Hospital after being injured in a traffic accident in Ishpeming Thursday morning.

According to Ishpeming police, at approximately 6:45 a.m. 17-year-old Cassidee Kudis of National Mine was traveling north on South Pine Street in a 2001 Chrysler Intrepid when she crossed the center line on a curve in the road near Excelsior Street and struck a southbound 2004 Ford pickup truck head on.

Kudis and an unrelated 6-year-old female passenger were seriously injured.
