Guilty of listening

In The Wall Street Journal on Jan. 30, 2014, there was a column about Obama’s “State of Disunion.”

His “supporters see now that his operating method wasn’t unification, but political and social division.” Even “the independents who gave him 52 percent of their vote in 2008 have fallen into the 30s.”

Last year’s polling number from “Gallup said in December that 72 percent of Americans regard big government as the greatest threat to our country.”

Obama even had the I.R.S. audit his opponents. He disregards the written law, doesn’t respect the truth and instead enforces how own policies by executive order.

During the last 5 years we’ve been disconnected from reality. Our defunct government is working against America because of poor leadership. Washington spies on private citizens, both foreign and domestic. They lie and cover up their actions with the assistance from the liberal media. They duped us about Benghazi, Fast & Furious and ObamaCare, took a powder on Syria and begged Putin to intercede.

In the Wall Street Journal on Jan. 25-26, Peggy Noonan commented, “No one’s really listening to the president now. He has been for five years a nonstop windup talk machine. He says nothing or little that is helpful, insightful or believable.

People know ObamaCare was badly thought, badly written and disastrously executed. It was supposed to make life better by expanding coverage. And – as we all know but did not last year – the program was passed only with the aid of a giant lie.

Fox News called it the lie of the year. Now everyone knows if you liked your plan, your doctor, your deductible, you can’t keep them. It has thrown people off coverage. When the central domestic fact of your presidency was a fraud, people won’t listen to you anymore.

On Jan. 23, 2014, the WSJ had an article entitled “Benghazi and the Smearing of Chris Stevens.” It was written by Gregory N. Hicks, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli from July 31 to Dec. 7, 2012.

He detailed “Some have been suggesting that the blame for this tragedy lies at least partly with ambassador Stevens, who was killed in the attack. This is untrue: the blame lies entirely with Washington. I know – I was there. His requests for additional security were denied or ignored. In January, Sen. Lindsey Graham stated on the Senate floor that Chris ‘was in Benghazi because that was where he was supposed to be doing what America wanted him to do: Try to hold Libya together.’ He added, ‘quit blaming the dead guy.'”

American diplomacy, backed by the threat of force, is why Syria’s chemical weapons are being eliminated said President Obama during his State of the Union. Reuters dispatch and even U.S. intelligence believe we are being faked out by Assad. We continue to be steamrollered by Obama and his shady rhetoric.

The reason the U.S. exists today if because of the gals and guys who answered the call when things got tough. They are the real guts and backbone of America, not looking for headlines like our politicians.

They deserve our respect and admiration because they are proud of their country and its heritage. The uniqueness of America is being destroyed by phony politicians and we are guilty of listening to them.
