Goodman-Pembine boys basketball

PEMBINE, Wis. – Goodman-Pembine, ranked in the top 10 of two state boys basketball polls, travels to Elcho tonight for a Northern Lakes Conference game.

The Patriors (14-1 overall, 10-0 NLC) are eighth in the Wissports coaches’ poll; ninth in The Associated Press.

“That’s quite an honor for our team, and means we’ve been winning a lot,” said Coach Paul Whitt, his Patriots on a 14-game winning streak. “It’s not necessarily a goal because it’s not something we control, but something the boys can be proud of. It also means we’ll get everyone’s best game every night. We have plenty of work to do and some very tough games ahead, so there’s no time to relax.”
