NIAGARA, Wis. – Irene E. Trulock, 93, of Niagara, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain.
She was born March 16, 1920, in Niagara, daughter of the late Valentine and Mary (Ruckowski) Krzyzaniak. Irene grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School. She married George (Pete) Trulock on Aug. 4, 1957. Irene sold Avon and Sarah Coventry Jewelry for years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Irene loved to travel, visiting Poland and France to honor her heritage. She volunteered actively at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center.
Irene is survived by one daughter, Carole (Barry) Jolette of Pleasanton, Calif.; and one sister, Bernice Johnston of Iron Mountain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George; and one son, Dale Brisbane.
