City councils meet this week

The Iron Mountain City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the council room of the city hall building, 501 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.

A special presentation will be made to Bill Gammey, a member of the Civil Service Commission.

New business on the agenda includes approval of a consultant for the 2014 Small Urban Program, assignment agreement for Bethesda Christian Broadcasting and an amendment to the service agreement with PJ Kortons.

The Kingsford City Council will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the council room, located upstairs of the city hall building, 305 S. Carpenter Ave. in Kingsford.

New business on the agenda includes a request to renew lease with JB Vending and a resolution for the sale of property ot KB&T Realty.

The Norway City Council will meet today at 7 p.m. in the Curtis J. Brackett council chambers of the city hall building, 915 Main St. in Norway.

The agenda includes approval of the extension of winter real and personal property tax payment deadline to Feb. 28, resolution on the Railroad Avenue Project with MDOT, and approval of the utility billing clerk position going from part-time to full-time.
