DUNBAR, Wis. – Ricky D. Newingham, 55, of Dunbar, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.
He was born in Norway on Sept. 2, 1958, son of Roger and Ruth (Thompson) Newingham.
Rick owned and operated Richard’s Supper Club and Motel in Dunbar. He took great pride in his business and treasured his friends and family. Rick loved people, flowers, gardening, and was an excellent carpenter who could build anything. He will be greatly missed.
Rick is survived by his children, Tony Higgins, Stacy Seidel, Tania Newingham, Tabatha Newingham, Jesse Theisen and Justin Jones; five grandchildren, Sam, Mariah, Hayden, Tabitha, and Keondre; five brothers and sisters, Darryl, Rodney, Kathy Newingham, Marleen Kuczala, and Jeanine (John) White; best friend, Tammy Newingham; and is further survived by numerous friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant granddaughter, Amichica; a brother, Roger Schiefelbein; and a sister, Bonnie White.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. today, Jan. 20, at the Messar-Roubal Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
