Take time to learn

I just finished reading the dutiful write up about your proposed “road diet” in Iron Mountain, in the Iron Mountain Daily News dated Jan. 14.

Why don’t you call it what it is, Part of Agenda 21 planning brought in by outsiders who are associated with radical environmentalism efforts?

The piece in the paper looks as though it was copied directly from the ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) website.

These “road diets” are designed to make automotive traffic flow slower, and more difficult. What’s next, traffic circles?

To anyone who is not familiar, this is part of the Smart Growth planning system. Any time someone attaches that word, “smart” to a proposed change to your life, watch out, it’s not so smart.

It’s designed to stifle traffic for autos and trucks, make bicycle traffic the predominant method of travel.

Yeah, I know, another kook.

But before you dismiss me as such, do your own research. Check into ICLEI Agenda 21 improvements. Take a look at a book by the name of “Behind the Green Mask” by Rosa Koire, or check out one of her many videos on You tube.

Of course, if anyone expresses disagreement with the plan you’ve bought into, there will be people in the group that will use the Delphi technique to silence them.

When this reaches public forum stage, you’ll see it happen.

Yes, I am aware that the initial plans as written about in the paper are innocuous, but that’s how the ICLEI/Agenda 21 crowd always starts.

Let it start here, and your way of life will be changing, and not for the better. With the Agenda 21 crowd, it’s about a control agenda, not improving life for humans. Please take time to learn about what this really is.
