NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Margaret “Peggy” Trepasso (nee Vanzo), 84, a resident of Naperville, formerly of the Upper Peninsula and Ann Arbor, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Stambaugh.
Loving wife of the late Carmello “Carmen” Trepasso, whom she married Aug. 26, 1950, beloved mother of Mary (Thom) Sutton of Naperville and Van (Rebecca) Trepasso of Howell, adored grandmother of John, Ben (Christine) and Elizabeth Sutton; John (Leah) Eccleton and Joe Trepasso, cherished great-grandmother of Nora Eccleton, devoted daughter of the late Turin and Anne (nee White) Vanzo, dear sister of Ralph (Jean) Vanzo of Rhinelander, Wis., and the late Vernelle (the late Edward) Ring, sister-in-law of Ralph (Rose) Trepasso of Farmington, Mo., and the late Caroline (the late Roy) Bellantonio, fond aunt of many.
Peggy grew up in Stambaugh and was a graduate of Stambaugh High School. Before retirement, she worked for many years in the medical library at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Peggy enjoyed reading and cooking for her family.
Private memorial services and interment will be held.
