HERMANSVILLE – Patricia Lee Fuller, 69, of Hermansville, passed away peacefully from recent medical complications, on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Pine Crest Medical Facility in Powers.
She was born on July 7, 1944, in Butte, Mont. She lived in Chicago, Menahga, Minn., later moving to Upper Michigan, when after her father’s passing, her mother married Allan Cootware.
Patricia graduated from Vulcan High School and later graduated with a nursing degree from Bay de Noc Community College.
She worked at the VA Hospital and later in security at the Champion Mill and then at Island Resort and Casino, retiring seven years ago to her home in Hermansville.
Her interests included spending time with family and friends, writing poetry, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and taking care of her cat, Mystic.
Patricia is survived by her brothers and sister, Dennis (Cherie) Fuller of Green Bay, Wis., James (Linda) Cootware of Norway and Diane (Brian) Wallace of Howell; her niece, Niki (Rob) Sanders and their children, Logan and Adrianna, all of Niagara, Wis.; one nephew, Kyle Cootware of Norway.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Fuller; her mother, Rosie (Baso) Fuller Cootware; her step-father, Allan Cootware; her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
She will be sadly missed and remembered by us all.
A family service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at the Norway Township Cemetery.
