Wind chill advisory
MARQUETTE – A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. this morning through much of the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin, the National Weather Service at Marquette announced.
Expect temperatures of 10 below to 20 below zero this morning away from the Lake Superior shoreline, the Weather Service said.
Combined with west winds of 5 to 10 mph, wind chills will fall to 25 to 30 degrees below zero through late this morning.
The advisory area includes Dickinson and Iron counties, along with Ontonagon, Baraga, Marquette, Gogebic, southern Houghton, Menominee, and Delta counties in the Upper Peninsula as well as Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, Marinette, Lincoln, Langlade, Oconto, Door, Marathon, Shawano, Wood, Portage, Waupaca, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Waushara, Winnebago, Calumet, and Manitowoc counties in Wisconsin.
