These two wishes
I for one am completely sick of this time of year. I for one am putting the Christ back into Christmas. I for one will now say “Merry Christmas” and possibly “Happy New Year” depending on my joviality meter.
I will say these two wishes for the rest of my life hoping that those opposed will not have me arrested. The white Christians founded this country and made it great.
The past few decades I hear that the Jews, who have their holidays of Hanukkah right before Christmas and their new year in September, don’t want us to say “Merry Christmas.”
The blacks have “Kwanzaa” and I know most don’t know what that is, but they say Happy Kwanzaa anyway. The Muslims probably have a great day to celebrate their beliefs and since this all falls under the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution, I for one say OK, rejoice, it’s your right.
But I will never stop from saying Merry Christmas and if somebody does not like this, then don’t respond because I don’t care if you don’t like it.
I like it and the other people who like it outnumber the people who don’t like it. Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2014.
