Henry W. Tregillis
QUINNESEC – Henry W. Tregillis, 81, of Quinnesec, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Dickinson County Hospital.
Henry was born on June 13, 1932, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Harry and Amelia (Serena) Tregillis. He was raised in this area and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School. Following his high school graduation he joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. Henry was employed for 28 years at Continental Can in Milwaukee and retired as a line inspector.
Henry married Mary Ann Westcott on Sept. 1, 1978. Together they spent many years in the Milwaukee area and following Henry’s retirement moved to Quinnesec. Over the years Henry has enjoyed fishing. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Detroit Tigers fan.
Henry is survived by his son, Patrick Sorenson of Norway; niece, Virginia (John) Weber of Kingsford; nephew, Lee (Cheryl) Tregillis of Felch; a great-niece; four great-nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann on Sept. 16 this year. Henry was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence Celia, David Celia and James Tregillis; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Celia and Grace Tregillis.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate.
Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
