Harold Voelker Sr.

STEPHENSON – Harold L. Voelker Sr., 87, passed away peacefully at his son’s house in Stephenson on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.

He was born in Grand Haven on Nov. 24, 1925; son of the late George and Elizabeth (Mimic) Voelker. Harold was united in marriage to Bernita Mae Ledger until her death and remarried Adeline Steipen, who also preceded him in death.

Harold was employed at the Kohler Co. for 18 years and was also a 10 year employee of Dunbar. Harold enjoyed spending time at Green Acres Golf Course in Beecher, Wis., and fishing for brook trout. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Harold is survived by two sons, Harold (Sue) Voelker Jr. of Stephenson, and Randy (Georgine) Voelker of Stephenson; five grandchildren, Stephaine (John) Gabris, Nikki Blackburn, Stephen, Randy (Tiffany) Jr., Robin and Tabitha; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herbert.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol; and brothers, Bernard, George, Glen and Wayne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine, Wis., with Father Matt Settle officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Monday.

Interment will be in the Memorial Garden Cemetery in Dunbar, Wis.
