ACE meets Tuesday
IRON MOUNTAIN – The next meeting of Americans for Constitutional Enforcement (ACE) will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Recreation Lanes in Iron Mountain and feature speaker Greg Evenson, PhD.
“Evenson is not new to speaking/educating ACE members and the general public, as he was involved in the founding of ACE,” a spokesperson said.
Evenson has worn many hats during his career including a Kansas State trooper, Kansas marshal; educator in both high school college, author, professional vocalist, national radio host, and his current position of chief executive officer of Risk Assessment Consultants, LLC.
Recently Evenson completed five one-hour episodes for IBC TV to be broadcast nationally, now scheduled to air Dec. 1, on “America Under Siege.”
Kim Webb, local vocalist, will be an additional feature at the meeting.
Social hour is at 5:30 p.m. with a dinner buffet at 6 p.m. The dinner is optional and the cost is $6.95 and those attending must make a reservation for dinner by calling 774-3310. Pizza will be served that evening.
Anyone who buys dinner will be put in a drawing for various door prizes. Anyone willing to donate a prize for the evening may call Diana at 396-7810.
This is the last opportunity to nominate someone for an office with ACE. Members are asked to nominate someone for president; vice-president or sergeant of arms and turn it in at this event. Person nominated must be a director and agree to be nominated.
ACE will again this year be conducting a “Deer Swap”, anyone who is in need of some meat may call Diana at 396-7810. In addition, anyone who hunts and would like to donate a deer call the same number.
Due to the Christmas holiday, this will be the last meeting for ACE for 2013.
