Halloween fun: Communities set times for trick or treating

IRON MOUNTAIN – Trick or Treat time for most area communities will be on Halloween evening.

Trick or treat hours for the local area on Thursday are as follows:

– 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway-Vulcan, Quinnesec, Felch, Crystal Falls, Iron County, Niagara, Wis., Pound, Wis.

– 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Florence, Wis.

– 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Waucedah Township.

– 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Hermansville, and Peshtigo, Wis.

– 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Wausaukee, Wis.

Goodman, Wis., trick or treat times will be held on Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Besides trick or treating, local organizations will have additional Halloween events.

First Presbyterian Church of Kingsford is hosting its annual Fall Festival Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Families are invited to come in costumes and share a hot meal with musical entertainment by the First Presbyterian Church children’s choirs, play indoor games, jump in the bounce houses, and have their photo taken.

There will be plenty of candy along with memories taken home from this event.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

First United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat on Halloween from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church parking lot.

All children are welcome.

The church is located at 106 4th St. (across from Hardee’s).

Grace Covenant Church in Crystal Falls is hosting its Trunk Or Treat event in the church parking lot on Halloween from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All trick-or-treaters, families, and friends are welcome to join in the fun.

Trick-or-treaters will be invited to go through the parking lot, from trunk to trunk, for their treats.

Hot dogs, chips, and popcorn will also be available in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

Everyone is welcome, whether or not in costume.

The church is located at 316 Jasper St. in Crystal Falls.
