Drug teams arrest three
MENOMINEE – Three people have been arrested as a result of an interstate heroin trafficking investigation conducted by the Menominee County Wide Drug Enforcement Team and the Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Team.
Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks said as a direct result of the investigation on Oct. 17-18, officers arrested a 21-year-old Menominee woman for a probation violation; a 28-year-old Menominee woman for possession with intent to deliver heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia; and, a 26-year-old Marinette, Wis., man for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug vehicle.
Release of names are pending the issuance of formal charges from the respective prosecutor’s offices in Marinette and Menominee, Sheriff Marks said.
