Leno St. Juliana

CRYSTAL FALLS – Leno P. St. Juliana, 68, of Crystal Falls, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Marquette General Hospital.

He was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Norway, son of the late Leno and Elizabeth (Nault) St. Juliana. Leno graduated from Forest Park High School in 1963 and attended Bay de Noc College in Escanaba, earning an associate degree in business. Following college, Leno moved to Waukegan, Ill., where he owned and operated Leno’s Sub Shop.

He married Patricia Hansen in 1975. They moved back to the U.P. and shortly thereafter bought the Michi-Aho Resort and raised their family. They owned the resort from 1982-1999. After retirement, he enjoyed his family and friends. Leno also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Leno (Kim) St. Juliana of Freedom, Wis., and Dennis (Desaray) St. Juliana of Andover, Minn.; one brother, Ronald (Linda) St. Juliana of Wheaton, Ill.; and two grandsons, Leno and Devin.

Leno’s memory will live on forever with everyone who had the opportunity to know him. He was the type of person who left an impression on everyone’s heart. Leno was a very kind, generous and supportive individual. He will be missed and loved by all.
