KINGSFORD – St. Mary Queen of Peace Church will be presenting the fourth in a series of variety shows known as Juke Box Memories.

This year’s show will again be held at the Kingsford High School auditorium. There will be six performances on two consecutive weekends.

The first weekend will be Sept. 27, 28 and 29, and the second will be Oct. 4, 5 and 6.

The Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7 p.m., and the Sunday shows start at 2 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students aged 12 and younger. Tickets my be purchased at the door, or in advance at the Parish office located at 600 Marquette Blvd. in Kingsford.

The show will again feature music from the 1950s and 1960s.

These songs have not been featured in previous shows.

While many of the same performers will be returning, they will also be joined by some new faces and voices.

The directors of the show said there are so many good songs from that era to choose from, it’s difficult to limit the selections.

“It seems each year our performers grow in confidence and just seem to get better and better,” a spokesperson said

“We hope you’ll mark your calendars and join us for a couple of hours and allow the music of the 1950s and 1960s to take you back to the memorable era of Rock ‘n Roll,” officials said.
