NEEDLES, Calif. – Jean Marie (Campbell) Gizzi passed away on Aug. 25, 2013, near Needles at the age of 74.
She was born March 14, 1939, in Iron Mountain, to Clarence and Lorraine (Dupras) Campbell, the oldest of six children.
Jean worked as an R.N. in the O.R. at Lake Havasu Medical Center for 17 years, retiring four years ago. Jean was asked to be supervisor wherever she was working. She also worked at a V.A. Hospital in Michigan and in California, and at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ohio.
She was an excellent cook, baking Italian bread twice a week. She was considerate, helpful, responsible, peaceful and loving, getting along with everyone.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David Norman Gizzi of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; brothers, Raymond Campbell (Bonnie) of Panama City Beach, Fla., Douglas Campbell (Lennie) of Hawaii, Gary Campbell (Mary) of Minneapolis and Kevin Campbell of Minneapolis; sister, Cheryl Petersen (Harold) of Alpha; sister-in-law, Deanne West of Paradise, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
