Flivvers hit 7-0

KINGSFORD – Kingsford improved to 7-0 on the girls tennis season with a 7-1 decision over Escanaba on Wednesday.

“We have more experience,” said Flivver coach Mark Shanks. “That’s what it comes down to.”

Hannah Tresedder and Santina Bianco, two of Kingsford’s eight seniors in the starting lineup, provided wins at Nos. 1 and 3 singles.

Escanaba’s point came from No. 2 doubles Audrey Wilson-Breanna Dault.

Kingsford visits Menominee today.
